Ben is an established thought-leader in the Australian Creative and Entertainment Industries, having co-edited one of the first books of original research on the topic (Entertainment Industries: Entertainment As A Cultural System, 2011). He brings to BMI experience from roles in private, public, startup and education sectors and leads Business Models Inc Design Anthropology, Visual Thinking, Research and Customer Insight practice.

Ben specialises in not specialising. His professional experience is intentionally multidisciplinary and spans the education, research, digital and social enterprise sectors. Holding an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts and an MBA, he is a passionate advocate for interdisciplinary skill development and the intersections between culture, technology, design and strategy.

Ben’s previous roles include Managing Audience Research, Strategy & Advocacy for large cultural institutions and acting as an Advisor and Strategist for fast-growth digital firms.
